Fitness week 10: Chest exercises

Fitness trainer David Fairlamb continues his weekly workout to help us get into shape.

This chest exercise needs to be performed with good control as you are taking the weights away from your body while you are lying on a ball.

Make sure you are in a stable position on the ball before starting. The arms are slightly bent and go straight out to the side of your body with the elbows leading the way. Please note the elbows are slightly bent at the start and do not bend any more during the exercise.

You may find your arms shake and you feel all over the place with this exercise that will improve as you get used to it.
