Comets set to be stars

NEWCASTLE band The Little Comets will be taking to the stage for Radio One’s Big Weekend.

Tipped by station DJ Huw Stephens, the band will play on the Introducing Stage on May 10. It’s likely to be the band’s biggest gig to date and follows regular plays on MTV as well as recruiting fans through gigs and “guerilla” performances.
