Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren in Hitchcock
CULTURE Club members have the chance to attend an exclusive screening of eagerly-awaited new film Hitchcock.
The screening will take place at the Empire Cinema, The Gate, Newcastle, on Monday, February 4, at 6.30pm.
Hitchcock is a love story about one of the most influential film-makers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife and partner, Alma Reville.
Anthony Hopkins stars as Alfred Hitchcock and Helen Mirren plays wife Alma in the film whose cast also includes Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh.
The action of the film is set against the making of Psycho, one of Hitchcock’s most famous films.
The film is based on a book called Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello and is directed by London-born Sacha Gervasi. Twenty five Culture Club members can each win admission for themselves plus three guests to this exclusive screening, which takes place four days before the official release date of the film.
