Sage hosting second art fair

THE second NewcastleGateshead Art Fair will be taking place inside the concourse at The Sage Gateshead from September 12 to 14.

Featuring 25 galleries, there will be a diverse range of Art on display and available to buy... so between now and then, we’ll be profiling some of the galleries within the welcoming confines of the Culture pages in The Journal, starting with Bianco Nero Gallery.

A bit about the gallery: Based in the bustling market town of Stokesley, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, Bianco Nero Gallery shows a wide range of contemporary fine art in frequently changing solo and group shows. Exhibitions showcase work by both local and nationally acclaimed artists in a variety of media from paintings, prints and drawings to glass, ceramics and sculpture. Exquisite handmade jewellery is also exhibited in the light and airy, three-storey gallery space.

The gallery website features a catalogue facility, regularly updated with exhibition details and images.
